Well, It's the diverse team with hands on skill sets on every aspect of digital marketing: search engine optimization, social media marketing, Pay per click advertising including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, website development and maintenance, graphic design as well as the culture we foster that makes us different.
“In studies by the Queens School of Business and by the Gallup Organization, disengaged workers had 37% higher absenteeism, 49% more accidents, and 60% more errors and defects. In organizations with low employee engagement scores, they experienced 18% lower productivity, 16% lower profitability, 37% lower job growth, and 65% lower share price over time. Importantly, businesses with highly engaged employees enjoyed 100% more job applications” - Emma Seppala and Kim Cameron
At Lambourn Digital, we believe in building and living a strong team culture. We are one of the unique Digital Marketing agencies who walk with the clients through their journey of being nowhere online to being everywhere online.
First, It is done not by one person but by the amazing Guys & Gals onboard with us with whom our clients share direct contact. Our clients do not have to wait for days to get a response on any issue that they might be facing as they know the people working on their websites and are directly in touch with them.
So, instead of one email being forwarded by managers to the relevant departments, it is the direct contact that saves time, makes the work efficient and faster! We have a 48 hours time slot within which we respond to every email we receive and again that's not possible if one person gets the emails of all our clients. We have recently introduced a POD structure where every POD consisting of two members and one account strategist is dedicatedly working on a few projects and is responsible for anything related to the project. That makes it easier to track the projects and get the right work-life balance for all of us.
Second, we are not one of the marketing agencies who throw technical terms to scare clients. We are proud to be working with some businesses whose market is otherwise thought to be boring. We do not expect our clients to be 100% technical because if they were then we will be out of work. We walk with them throughout the onboarding process and lifecycle with us, helping them understand at each step what we are doing and more importantly why we are doing it.
We run training sessions with our clients to help them cope up with all things digital. We are on top of every Google and social media update to have our clients stay ahead of the competition. All our clients’ websites are optimized for Google’s Page Experience update and we have strategies in place for every client to survive in the cookie-less world. These updates did not exist a couple years ago when Lambourn Digital was born so we also had to learn and update ourselves which brings us to the third strength.
Third, the continuous learning opportunity we nurture. One of the good things about being in the digital marketing business is that no two days are the same. Every now and then there are new updates which needs us to dig deep into it, learn it and find the tricks to master it. Our Guys & Gals sign up for new courses and we have knowledge sharing sessions on Fridays. We wear different hats at different times.
While we know where our individual strengths are, we are capable of handling every task assigned which not just makes us an all rounder digital marketing agency but every team member a complete digital marketer too with the opportunity of a massive career growth. We use the best tools available in the market that ensures timely and accurate reporting to our clients so that the clients can see the ROI from marketing budget spent: SemRush, HubSpot, Hootsuite, WordStream, Oribi - We got it all.
So, to sum up our little #TOM is the recipe for us being one of the fastest growing
Digital marketing agency in Ireland for SMEs
We treat our employees as our customers and then they treat our customers even better. That’s our formula for a thriving workplace, business and economy.

The one who gets all the emails
Lambourn Digital's first day of business was March 1st 2018. The idea for setting up a digital marketing agency came about while company founder Ian McLoughlin was working as Digital Content & Marketing manager with Demesne Electrical.
"I'd noticed that lots of companies within the electrical industry generally had poor online presence. For such a large & vitally important industry, companies' websites didn't match the good work they were doing on a day to day basis. I made a pitch to the Demesne Electrical board of directors where I laid out my plans of starting my own business, with the hope of continuing to manage their online and offline marketing requirements. Luckily they agreed with my plan and Lambourn Digital had their 1st client onboard!"
Catherine Doyle joined as our 1st employee just a couple of months later, followed by our 1st full-time employee Karl O'Callaghan. We have grown rapidly in a short space of time and since Covid has effected us all, it has changed a lot of businesses' perceptions of their website and how they present themselves online.
We are delighted to work with some of the biggest companies in the electrical industry such as Kellihers, CESCO, WESCO, Peats.ie, Fantasy Lights, Enlighten, Spectrum Distribution, Lidacel, Lightsolutions & of course Demesne Electrical.
Although focusing on this particular niche has served us well, we now have clients in many other areas also, such as consumer electronics, agri & farm equipment, garage equipment, welding supplies, office supplies, pest control to name a few.
Our clients know that we are an honest and hard working team. We report back on all work completed and the effects the work has had on our clients websites, their position on Google and most importantly the leads and sales our work has generated for their business.

I started working with Lambourn Digital in March 2019. I was returning to the workforce from maternity leave after having my second child. I already knew Ian from my previous job at Demesne Electrical, so when I was asked to come onboard as Lambourn Digitals first employee I jumped at the chance. Little did I know it would turn out to be the most rewarding and enjoyable job I've ever had! I love the diversity of our clients - from farm machinery to Christmas lights - everyday is different!
Myself and Ian worked together in Demesne for 12 years so I knew a lot about the electrical industry and that definitely helped with our first few clients - Waveform, Demesne, Cesco. Shortly after I joined LD, Karl also came on board and together we formed a great team, going from 10 or so clients to what it is today..

The one who fixes all the problems
I started working with Ian toward the end of 2019. Ian had built a digital marketing agency from his doorstep but was in need of another pair of hands! So, with a background in Visual Communication through Waterford Institute of Technology, Digital Marketing through the Dublin Business School and Digital Multimedia through Ballyfermot College of Further Education, I joined forces with Ian and Catherine, and got to work freshening up client websites with new content as well as climbing the Google ladder using best in practice SEO procedures.
Whether it be Lead gen or Ecommerce based websites, I optimised pages; products, logos, banners and more.
Later on, I moved on to Inbound Marketing and started designing mailshots, landing pages, blogs and LinkedIn advertisements. We found our clients had lots of fantastic products and ideas, but needed guidance on how to promote their brand to a wider audience. As a registered Hubspot Partner, we used their intuitive CMS to spread news, offers and most importantly, Covid-19 updates, to the masses on behalf of our valued clients.
My Favourite part about working with Lambourn Digital is providing easy access for small businesses to grow brand awareness online.
This ties in with my favorite digital marketing quote - “Ignoring online marketing is like opening a business but not telling anyone.”
The one obsessed with rankings and cars
Asana full of tasks, tons of emails, and fixing thousands of errors is my daily routine as an SEO Specialist. Apart from that, working with Lambourn is one of the best experiences of my life. Working with the best software's in the market, ongoing learning, and advice from highly skilled colleagues make work easier. Mornings in Lambourn start with funny jokes, cute and smiley faces. I feel very proud working with Lambourn and always try to give my best.
My favorite quote is from "Suits": "The only time "success" comes before "work" is in the dictionary."
The one who is a dreamer and fast learner
I came to Ireland for my Masters in Digital Marketing at National University Of Ireland Galway after having worked for 7 years in India as a Global Business Development Manager, Part time Spanish Language Trainer and Indian Classical Dancer in September 2020, amidst the pandemic. I will save the story of my epic journey of 36 hours in a PPE suit and the life during the pandemic of doing a Masters online for some other time.
I started my journey with Lambourn Digital as a Digital Design and Marketing Intern in March 2021. When I came across the vacancy for the intern at Lambourn Digital, I just knew I had to apply as it was so aligned with my field of interest and services I have experience in. During my internship, I actually never felt like an intern. I wanted to work more and more hours because I was learning so much and was given full freedom to try new things. I was thrown in front of clients to even pitch marketing ideas.
I was offered full time employment with Lambourn Digital in June and without a second thought accepted it. From mailshot, graphic design, social media posts and campaigns to Off Page SEO and On Page Technical SEO, I have worked on everything. I handle all the Google Adwords for the clients in our Pod and even manage all website development projects. Nothing gives me more excitement than seeing the ads and websites pop up on Google when searched with a keyword. The trust that Ian puts in me doing the work autonomously motivates me to learn more and be perfect in what I do.
Apart from my professional experience, I feel extremely supported on my well being. Working from home has been hard and balancing studies with work has been harder. I receive reminder emails to not do extra work and go for walks. Whenever I had any issue with any task, I had my amazing team to look into it and work together. I am grateful and blessed to be working for a company that does not just care about work but the ones working.
My favorite quote by Helen Keller seems to be very well applied at Lambourn: “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much”.
The one who is the fantastic support system of both Pods
I've been working with Lambourn as a Marketing Intern for just over a month now. I love travelling and enjoy any kind of food under the sun! I heard about Lambourn Digital through a fellow student in my Digital Marketing masters in NUI Galway and took the initiative to apply for an internship even though there was nothing advertised. I was lucky. After meeting with Hugh and Ian I was determined to work for the company that seemed to have a great working culture all while being extremely customer focused.
Since starting in digital marketing I've known that I have a keen interest in social media marketing in particular, and getting to try that out at Lambourn has been a terrific experience. As well as this, I am learning about new programs and platforms that I really enjoy working with. No two days are the same at Lambourn, and I have been given the opportunity to work in all areas of Digital Marketing.
I particularly like the fact that Lambourn works in a pod structure, meaning tasks are divided amongst teams who work together with their strengths to achieve the best possible outcome for the client. I am looking forward to the remainder of my internship, and I firmly believe in the saying:
“She believed she could, so she did”. If you put your mind to something, you can achieve it no matter what.
So, to sum up, it's not only what we do, how we do that makes us your most trusted Digital Marketing Agency in Ireland for SMEs, it is why we do it. We want to help SMEs grow their online presence in an uncomplicated way. With all things digital constantly changing, we want to help our local businesses stay ahead of the competition in simple and easy ways that doesn’t break their banks!
